[:en]Salzburg College – University Transfer Program
The University Transfer Program (UTP) at Salzburg College is a 60 credit hours, 16-month (minimum) course of study that covers the core materials needed to complete the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree. The University Transfer Program for each area parallels Northern Illinois University’s Foundational Studies and Knowledge Domain curriculum. Students earn course credit through NIU and, upon successful completion, will complete the NIU Bachelor Degree study at NIU (in 2 years), or complete the last 2 years NIU Bachelor Degree study at Salzburg College (only for NIU approved arrangement according to individual program placement), or may transfer this credit to any other (American University Credit recognized) college or university of their choice.

Northern Illinois University is university with academic qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Peoples’ Republic of China ( Qualification Recognition by Ministry of Education of the PRC ).
Eligible candidates:
- High (Secondary) School leavers (GPA 3.0 or above)
- Current Bachelor Degree students
- Current Diploma/Higher Diploma students
- English language proficiency requirements according to individual faculty subject
- According to the admission requirements for the applied program, applicants for music/performing arts/art programs will need to take the music/performing arts/art professional level entrance examination of the corresponding school/faculty
- 18 Years of age at program start
Candidates with needs in fulfilling the English Language requirements and other foundation subjects (like Mathematics or Music for music study students, etc.) must complete an extra semester prior to being admitted into the University Transfer Program to fulfill admission requirements.
Students with a GPA below 3.0 who wants to apply for the study, they can apply as individual cases so that Salzburg College/NIU can consider such individual application according to the requirements of the applied faculty subject.

- TOEFL:minimum score of 71 for computer based test or 527for paper based test
- IELTSscore 0 or above
- Duolingoscore 105 or above
- IGCSE, GCSE, or GCE O-level / A-Level English Language Grade C or above, etc.
